Working principle

The VSI6X vertical axis impact crusher (also known as sand making machine) has two feeding modes: full center feeding: the material falls into the feeding hopper, enters the high-speed rotating rotor through the central feeding hole, is fully accelerated and thrown out through the launching port, first collides with a part of the material that bounces back and falls freely, and then impacts the vortex material lining (or counterattack block) in the surrounding vortex chamber together. It is first bounced back to the top of the crushing chamber, then deflects and moves downward, and collides with the material emitted from the impeller channel to form a continuous material curtain. Finally, it is discharged through the lower discharge port.The central feeding is accompanied by a circular waterfall feeding: the material falls into the feeding hopper, then falls through the circular hole, and is divided into two streams by the bulk tray. The material entering the impeller is rapidly accelerated and thrown out at high speed inside the impeller. It is first bounced back to the top of the crushing chamber, then deviates and moves downwards, colliding with the material emitted from the impeller flow channel to form a continuous material curtain, and finally discharged through the lower discharge port.
